Sears Unveils Kenmore PROâ„¢ Suite of Appliances at Portland Fall Home & Garden Show, Oct. 6-8

Attendees of the Portland Home and Garden Show will get a special preview of the Kenmore PRO suite of appliances that are landing in Sears stores nationwide later this fall. The Kenmore PRO kitchen is the centerpiece of Sears' new 1200 square foot consumer exhibit, located at booth #246 at the Portland Expo Center, 2060 North Marine Drive during the home show.

The Kenmore PRO line, a professional style suite of kitchen appliances for the home, is a first-of-its-kind offering from Sears. Kenmore PRO marks the brand's first foray into high-end appliances and is positioned above the company's current Kenmore Elite line. "Who better than Kenmore -- America's leading appliance brand -- to adapt the most desirable qualities of professional kitchen appliances to perfectly suit home cooks at a price that is right?" said Tina Settecase, vice president and general manager of home appliances for Sears, Roebuck and Co.

Sears is also a leader in sales of ENERGY STAR appliances, and will offer consumers information on saving energy and money through the use of energy- efficient appliances. The Kenmore Elite Oasis high-efficiency washer and dryer will be demonstrated at the booth. Oasis HE revolutionizes the top-load washer and offers best-in-class features -- cleaning and drying performance; capacity; energy; quiet operation; water efficiency; and style. The Oasis HE cleans better than any washer on the market* and uses significantly less water and energy than conventional top-load washers. Oasis uses 47 percent less water than conventional top-load washers and 53 percent less energy.
