Kmart Customers Can Make Donations to American Red Cross to Aid Relief Efforts in Southeast Asia and Eastern Africa

Kmart Holding Corporation (NASDAQ: KMRT) today announced that the company will accept donations toward tsunami relief efforts by the American Red Cross at all of its stores nationwide until February 15.

Customers may donate at any Kmart register in the amount of their choice or, online at Kmart's website at via a link to the American Red Cross. All donations will be taken by scanning a specially designated bar code to benefit the American Red Cross' International Relief Fund which is providing assistance to those in need in Southeast Asia and Eastern Africa after the earthquake and tsunami of December 26, 2004.
