This holiday season, Kmart will again participate in two national community outreach efforts, the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program and the Salvation Army Christmas Bell Ringers Program. This is Kmart's third year as a sponsor of Toys for Tots which helps make the holidays brighter by providing toys for more than four million children each year. Kmart stores will participate as collection sites for toys for children of all ages through December 17. Additionally, for the first time, customers who visit kmart.com and click "Toys" can make a cash donation to the Toys for Tots Foundation. Salvation Army Bell Ringers will be collecting donations at Kmart stores nationwide. Last year the Salvation Army raised more than $6.8 million at Kmart during the holidays.
