The Great Indoors to Open Second Store in Denver

Denver-area residents will get another look at the latest in home decorating and remodeling when The Great Indoors opens in Broomfield in the summer of 2001.

The Broomfield store, located next to the new FlatIron Crossing Shopping Center, is The Great Indoors' second store in the Denver market and the first two-story The Great Indoors store in the country.

"By opening a second store in Denver, we are able to reach customers living on the North side of the city who want to shop The Great Indoors," said Bob Rodgers, president of The Great Indoors. "The Great Indoors is all about style, selection, value and convenience and that's what customers in the Broomfield area can expect when the new store opens this summer."

The Great Indoors is organized around the four main rooms of the home -- kitchen, bath, bedroom and the great room with a fifth area devoted to floors and walls. The new store will showcase approximately 75 lifestyle vignettes with more than 50,000 items to help customers visualize solutions for their own rooms. Customers also will find a vast assortment of well-known brands at the store including Bosch, Bose, Calphalon, Corian, Croscill, Karastan, KitchenAid, Kohler, Thermador and Waverly.

The Broomfield store will be approximately 140,000 square feet and employ nearly 300 people.

The Great Indoors debuted in 1998, opening its first store in Lone Tree, Colo., next to Park Meadows Mall. The Great Indoors is a unit of Sears, Roebuck and Co. For more information about The Great Indoors, visit .
